Seat trim

Did all CBX1000 seats come with the chrome seat trims on each side of the seat grab strap?
Four strips in total, long & short.

Only 79s and 80s had chrome strips. 81 and 82 did not.

...but oddly, the replacement "B" seats that Honda sold for the 79 and 80 not only had a different pattern on the vinyl, but also deleted the trim. See photos of my bike (signature) for example.

That is indeed odd. I bought several of these when Honda had them a few years ago and they all had the strips. Are you sure, you bought yours from Honda?
