I'm working on a customer's '80. Preparing to install the new clutch hub rubbers, I removed the advancer/pulse unit and discovered it was a 469. This is the second one I've personally found, and one of many I've heard of still out there. Anyone with a Japanese '80 should check that they have the 469A advancer and not the faulty 469. And the Dyna ignition advancer thimble does not work on the 469 advancer base.
