Rear master cylinder, gsxr 1000 will it fit?
Hi guys my mastet cylinder is completely seized, i was just wondering if there is aftermarket ones that will fit? I looked for honda and they all have banjo bolt at top, but a suzuki gsxr ones on amazon looks identical to mine. This way i can maybe ride bike and take my time rebuilding origial. My cbx is a 1980. Thanks, Fred.
Cheers, Fred

You can easily rebuild your stock master cylinder. You can heat the cylinder, that might work to free the piston, or I've drilled some of them out, others have succeeded using various methods. Much less trouble than adapting something else.

I have drilled a hole long ways into a bolt and then tapped it to put a grease zerk in it. Screw it into where the line that was going to your caliper. I then put the grease to it. It has never failed me. It is a bit messy but it saves your master cylinder.

Don't use air pressure. It can send parts flying, never to be found until after you've gotten new ones.
The grease trick works perfectly.

A #35 wire should just go through the hole. I use a jet gauge wire.
