Hi I bought a nice CBX 1000 pro link when working in South Africa, it's a great bike runs well. But needs a little tidying and sorting. Did quite a few Kim's on it in SA and really enjoyed it.
I brought it back to the uk and am now trying to register it with the DVLA who are insisting Ina manufacturers certificate / dating letter. Honda uk have just advised me that they can't provide the information required as the VIN is not in their system. So any help advice on where to go from here would be greatfully received .
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Welcome to the site, and CBX ownership!
Do you have the SA title / registration? That would normally be enough.
In the past, VJMC have provided dating letters which were accepted by the DVLA - you may want to try them out.
Paul.

I can probably narrow the date it was built down to the month of the year with the serial number (last five digits) of the VIN.
