You are probably talking "offset". There is no rake in the fork, unless the offset of the upper clamp is less than the offset in the lower clamp. Only a very few cruiser forks have that.These have a pretty good rake to em
Rake is in the frame, in the steering neck, and will only change, if you cut and re-weld the neck.
The more you lower your front end and the smaller your front wheel becomes, the less trail you will have. This results in extremely unstable straight line performance. Something you really do not want when you go fast for a quarter mile.
But then again, we are all great engineers in our own mind....
