Hi All,
New member and new CBX owner - have just acquired a 1982 Pro-Link. Bought it from the chap who bought it new and has kept it totally original, apart from having to re-cover the seat and replace the exhaust with a local, Cowley system. The bike came complete with original owner's manual, all tools, pressure gauge etc. It's done 112,000km (70,000 miles), so only 3,700km (2,300 miles) a year - I reckon that's pretty low.
It shares a garage with my long(er) term restoration project - a 1972 Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV. There's no rust on the Honda!
Cheers,
Rodney

Welcome, Rodney. You will like your new toy!
I also like to see your GTV. I once owned a 2000 Spider. Bought it brand new in 1978. Dark Blue over red leather. Was still the chrome bumper version and carburetted engine. Loved that car. Always liked the GTV. Friend of mine had one.
They were very popular in Europe as a GT race car.

A friend used to be an Alfaholic, but unfortunately a divorce cured him.

Welcome Rodney!
I took a tour of your country about a year ago and it was spectacular, as was the riding. There are a few other CBXers here from SA as well.
