Hello from Manchester UK

Hello Gents, I am new to the club, and have acquired a cbx1000, 1980 I believe,
this was left to me by my departed Uncle, he was an old school biker with a wicked sense of humor
so I’m not sure if this bike was a gift or a curse.
I know little about the cbx model (I’m mainly singles & twins) so at present I am looking through the technical areas of the forum for information whilst cataloging/marking/ stripping /re-commissioning the bike.
I shall without doubt be posting some questions and look forward to hearing from other members in the future.
Regards
Edd.

Hi ya, Edd.
After your first ride you will easily decide that it was a gift.

Welcome, Edd!
We can help you identify the correct model of your bike. Most likely a "1979" model CBX-Z. "1980" CBX-A models were not officially imported to the U.K. by Honda.
This model year designation is the official Honda designation. It differs from what you have, as most European countries identify the year of first sale/registration as the model year of the bike.
Let's see some photos/other info! 8)
