Small oils seal on the shift lever

I have an oil leak from the small oil seal of the gear/shift lever. It is a nuisance as it drips on the hot exhaust, causing some smoking. I assume this is easy to remove from the outside? What size seal is this and can it be replaced by a generic seal from a 3rd party or is is it spesific to the CBX? Regards.

Using a pick tool, it can be easily removed.
The Honda part number (Still available, used on hundreds of other bikes) is: 91206-286-013
Or from your local seal supplier, it's metric sized (naturally) 17 x 28 x 7.

I like to clean the shifter shaft spotless and put a few wraps of electrical tape on the shifter splines. Lightly oil the shaft and seal and gently work it over the tapes splines, ease it down, back it up, clean the dust if may have squeegeed down the shaft and seat it with a piece of PVC pipe cut square and sanded smooth.
