Hi guys,
My newish front pads are noisy, they squeal.
Any way to solve this, or just buy better pads?
Thanks

Apply silicon brake grease to the BACK of the pads. Do be careful not to get any onto the friction surfaces. That is a common thing with brake pads on many bikes. Some pads come with a coating of a material to prevent this. Others do not. Apply the silicon any time you remove any pads just for insurance against squeal.

Grimy sliding pins will also cause poor performance and noise. If you’re servicing the caliper with pads and lube, remove the sliding pins, clean the bores till spotless, and relube with proper high-temp brake grease.

Brake squeal is caused by vibration. You can apply this to the back of the pad to stop the squeal
