Can someone tell me the differences between the VB60 and the VB62 carbs ?
Do VB62A's run ok on a 79 Z model ?
Thanks and Merry Xmas to all in the ICOA.

Would you give a slight preference to one of them, Steve?

Everyone is enamored with the VB60 carbs, but the VB62 will work just fine. The key is if you want to keep the '79 original, then you should use those carbs, but if that does not matter to you, then use the carbs that are overall in the best functional and cosmetic shape. Stock jetting in either set of carbs works just fine.

Thanks for the replies. I was asking as my 79 is fitted with VB62 carbs. I'm not sure of the jetting, but the bike is stock.

Steve:
The VB62 carbs should have 110 main jets stock. Those are the only (easily) replaceable jets in those carbs.
