With stock tires, 36 Front, 38 Rear should work fine. You may get a lot of different opinions, though, but that's what I run on my '82 and it works fine. But, then, I'm not a canyon carver, so.......

Thanks jim I had seen a manual that said 26 f 40 rear I figured that was wrong
