Dave,

Is going up to #38 on pilot jets recommended for '82 carbs as well? I just took mine apart to clean after bike sat for some time so now would be good time to upgrade if suggested.

You can go to 38s if you want. Bike will warm up faster, but gas mileage will suffer.
