OK advice followed - I've joind the UK CBX Riders club.
Couldn't resist a quick ride on Sunday now the snow's gone. A thrill to ride, but she wouldn't idle, even with the adjuster wound fully clockwise. What do people do about service manuals?

Hello Scudrunner,
Sounds like you may have blocked idle jets, there are online manuals available that you can download and print or put an ad on the Riders club under "wanted" there is always someone moving on or upgrading for a cleaner manual, also check Ebay. Unless you are doing a complete rebuild the online one is fine. Email me on gosine at tesco dot net and I can point you in the right direction, you have my mobile number.
You are welcome to get in touch and perhaps pop round on a Sunday, I can show you what you need to do to clean your carbs as I have 6 sets that I am working on at various stages waiting on parts. The offer is there and my time is free, so is the tea and biscuits
Regards
Steve

Hello Guys,
Ive just bought a z model from Germany - in need of a fresh lick of paint (any recommendations would be great) but i think engine wise its strong. Waiting to get it registered over here then MOT etc. Im based in SW london so if people want to meet up one morning in a few weeks be good to see other bikes and get advice from people. Im a bit of a novice when it comes to getting my hands dirty but i dont mind.
Look forward to meeting people
Shane

Welcome to the site, Shane.
I am sure Mel will be along to say hello. He knows just about everybody in the UK with a CBX.
