The Netherlands calling...

Post by yeruhn »

Hi,
I'm Jeroen and live in The Netherlands. I ride motorcycles for more than 30 years (see: http://www.zx11.nl).
From day one I found the CBX a very beautiful machine and finally after many, many years I've bought one.
It's a red one from 1979.

It needs some tlc and I intend to enhance its looks piece by piece.
I've already read a lot of interesting stuf on this forum and maybe one day I can add my 2 cents :-)

Hi ya, yerhun.
Very nice looking '79. Looks like you will polishing chrome.
That is a great collection of bikes you have owned over the years.
If/when you take the carbs apart i would be interested to know what jets you have with the pods.

Groeten
"It's a friggen motorcycle, it's not supposed to be comfortable, quiet or safe. The wind noise is supposed to hurt your ears, the seat should be hard and riding it should make you shit your pants every now and then. "
