Well done history of the Classic CBX

Post by Artie »

I think it’s well done concise and accurate?
Great story that I never get tired of reading occasionally

Thanks for the link, Artie.
I don't know enough to gauge the accuracy of all the details but indeed it was a great read.
Fun to see The Beast in very early livery.

It is a nice article, most details are absolutely correct. Tom Battison is quoted to have collaborated, so you will have to expect a factual report. Except: Once again, the piece is written outside the U.S. and from the view of - here- Australia. The short quote about the 1980 model in the U.S. having different handlebars and footpeg position is not correct. It seems the 1980 model creates a lot of different comments in the rest of the world due the fact that it was produced in two different locations and actually not sold in quite a few countries.

Thank you much, Artie. That is one fine 'read' and history for the old boy. Enjoyed it.
