gonna visit Atlanta

Post by cbxtacy »

I have reservations June 23-28. That's next year. I guess I'll have to edit this post next year. I'm considering riding there. My itinirary looks like overnight stops in Las Vegas, Kanab, Montrose (Colorado, not Michigan or New York), Colorado Springs, Little Rock and then Atlanta. It's early. I'm riding a CBX. Anyone else? It should be a real nice ride from San Diego to Colorado Springs. Then I know some roads across east CO where you might pass a car in the other direction every 15 minutes. Then from OK it will be mostly interstate.

Gonna go to Cummins (norht of Atlanta) for a few days and then head up to Gatlinburg/Dollywood for a few. Kaye's always wanted to go there. I'm just wondering if we'll run across any other CBXr's on our trip. But then again if I see to many other CBX's on my travels while out on my X, I might sell all mine and buy something else. Last Sunday was a 500+miler, I rode up to the Burger Barn that Dan1995 recommends for a Jalapena Burger.

In the "Good Olde Days", the cowboys would stick a piece of beef under the saddle during long rides in order to tenderize it....
