Quit your job (I've gotten good at that this year) or if quitting isn't your forte, PM me your bosses phone number and I'll see that you don't have to worry about business interfering with the show. You can draw unemploynent benefits when fired also :D .

And Andreas is back from his travels. Gonna get his Ferrari powered bike to the show and (if it's ready) the V12 hopefully. He called me and placed an order from my pile o CBX engines for a cam chain tensioner, the top one. And we discussed the color to paint the bikes (front fenders). Anyone have any ideas for the front fenders? Gonna do both of them. Larry, why don't you photo shop them? I'll put pic's of the fenders here shortly.

Here's an older pic of the V12. The wheels are now polished

and here's the Ferrari Dino (blown(yes, that's right)) powered bike

So, what color do you think they should be?

I would paint them the same color as the frame. Or black.

What is the frame on the V-12? Blank metal?

I sorta like the way the fender/wheels on the Ferrari bike match the reflective strips on the pole behind him. But, I'm partial to yellow.....

Either garage is too small or we have too many bikes. Or Momma's car needs to go outside.

Yellow was an official racing color of Ferrari. I faintly remember one of the winning classic Testarossas being yellow.

plug wires and name on tank also. He'll probably go with pole reflective stripe yellow.

and the frame is aluminum. When Andreas paints a bike, that means front fender, mirrors, and wheels if they're not polished. Makes it easier to paint a bike, everything else is aluminum. Andreas has spent the last 1 1/2 year making and re-making cam chain and hyvo chain tensioners and guides. I'm waiting for a tensioner for the top chain that goes from cam to cam to show up from Louis now. He's destroyed all the ones I have from my spare engines fabricating things and they don't always work. He made a two piece sprocket to drive the other cams and it's real tight now with 2 cam chains and the hyvo chain all next to each other. And on the cylinders/head he turned backwards the tensioner had to be mounted in the valve cover. The sprocket driving those cams had to be larger then the other so he wouldn't have to machine into the crank where he welded it to. So the sprocket on the cam it drives had to be larger also. I might go by there tomorrow and take pic's of the sprockets, tensioners, guides just to show you. It's unbelieveable.
