is that your triple in one of the pic's?
one out of four people in this country is mentally unbalanced
think of your three closest friends, if they're okay then
YOU'RE THE ONE

No, the No 47 was an H2 based racer.

O.K., guys, here is my report. I have to apologize for....

...the picture quality. The lighting was extreme and I used a semi-manual
camera, which made a lot of pics come out poor. It took me a while to
get some into useable status.

... the delay in reporting. Reason see above

Anyway:

I took the 81 CBX down and it performed flawless. As we rode in a group and a 1957 BMW R26 was setting the pace, I was getting 40 mpg

1970

Although they said the show had more entries than in previous years, it definitely wasn't the case in the Japanese category. Among the few were two pairs (!) of immaculate Kawasaki Z1s. Each pair was owned by one owner, respectivley. Missed you, Mike Hall!

1972

Another highlight was Steve Passwater's awesome CB400F. I talked to him just before I left. He owns one of the best 79 CBXes I have ever seen

1973

In the Euro/Italian section, the overall show winner

1974

Another show winner , same owner, out of the competition section

1975

More Euro/Italian..

1976

The English contingency was by far the largest. Maybe, because last year, A BSA took all the honors..

1971

1977

1978

1979

1980

1981

1982

1983

1986

1987

1988

1989

The Rickman brothers were among this year's Hall Of Fame inductees. Their bikes had a special section:

1990

These two pics are the same bike. Just shows how bad the lighting was.

1991

1992

The Competition class

1984

1985

Ignorant me, has no idea, why this was in the comp class. Maybe Larry knows..

1993

Finally, on the way out, I saw that I was not the only one with a CBX. The owner of this nicely done 79 was from Columbus.

1994

1995

If you see anything in the background of one of the pictures, that you would like to examine closer, let me know. I may have a shot of it.

Looks like you had some great scenery to look at Mike.
Thank you for posting the pics.
I have always liked the cafe Rickman bikes. I had a Rickman 1/4 fairing on a Water Buffalo years ago. I am sure that is as close to owning one as i will get.
