...How could I forget   I have to make a separate post about it. Well, at least this way, I can properly brag: Although a little later than expected, the Desmosedici arrived on Saturday, September 23. :D :D What a sweet bike this is. Wait until I post pictures!!

MCN-Motorcycle Consumer News, October 06 has a neat feature over 5 full pages (pg 22-26) with pictures of all the gadgets you can load an R1200GS with   to turn it into the ultimate long distance bike. I think I will get you an extra copy. You'll love it :!:

Another old post revived. Excellent work, circuscbx.
My current collection of heaps include:
3-'79 CBX
3-'80 CBX
1-'81 CBX
1-'82 CBX
1-'82 CB900F
3-'78 GS1000
1-'75 XS650
At least 5 of them have been referred to as parts bikes, i prefer to think of them as projects.
Again, my motto:
Not enough time
Not enough room
Not enough money
Not enough brains.

Glad this post was resurrected. Totally forgot to correct myself. That darn 16-valver never came. Somebody goofed and got me all hyped up.
Scheduled for April now. We'll see. Was offered a 1098S with a significant discount and a trade-in guarantee to keep me happy. Don't really want to do this. I'm afraid I may not want to give it up

One of my buddies is joining us on the ride and he is a big Ducati fan. He'll probably want your autograph.
