Have you done anything new in the fuel supply area? As I recall, that was the biggest problem last year - A simple in-line electric fuel pump (if allowed by the rules) might go a long way toward solving the starvation problems from last year

HI Don, Lined the tank to stop the rust from blocking the filters. Also put an inline fiter from Pingel with one inlet and two outlets, and re-routed the fuel lines so that there is a much cleaner flow to the carbs. It worked OK on the dragstrip but we'll have to see how a few laps around the track go...
Problem with an electric fuel pump is that we are running total loss with no charging system. We're also reducing the weight some more by modifying footrest plates etc. and Gene Tilly's (RIP) alloy wheels have also proved a significant weight saving, and given Sweepings a whole new refreshed look!
