The Road To Colorado (like an old Bob Hope movie)

Should be an interesting thread, Kayeboo and I leave on Saturday with the first stop in Vegas. She has no idea what I plan on doing with her in Vegas (pictures will be posted) .

Made it to Vegas. Stayed at the Cancun Resort. Here's the pool.

Here's Kayeboo at the gun range (what else is there to do in Vegas?).
1643
and here she is with her target. 50 bullets fired and 50 bullet holes in the target. All on fully auto, excellent 3 round bursts most of them. Weapon was an old M-16 with a 9mm conversion.

I guess you don't mess around with Kaye(boo). I probably need to relinquish my membership in the 'MANCLUB'. I ride a 1047cc motorcycle and my wife rides a 1200cc motorcycle and now she fires fully automatic weapons efficiently.

and today (monday) we made it 550 miles and gravity drug my CBX down. I had stopped to take a picture. Put my X on the side stand. Wiggled it a bit to make sure it was settled. Walked over and took this picture
I'll post it in a bit
and then was walking back to my bike while looking at my camera. I was 20 feet from my bike and heard a crash and the sound of shattering Japanese plastic and aluminum. I looked up and my X was laying down. I went over and picked her up with some help. The main reason she fell is because of the rear, aftermarket, Works Performance shock. It fell to the right after the shock had a minute to settle down a bit. I'll do a thread on after market pro-link shocks and what I think of them later. *^%$#@!!##$$%.
Anyway we left Vegas and headed north up I 15. The casino's shift change at 6am and heading out of town north there was a good traffic jam heading south to get into town. We hit Arizona and the Virgin River Gorge and then Saint Me (George), UT for breakfast at a Cracker Barrel. Went up the road a bit further and caught Utah 9 through Zion. Then we took 89 north to Utah 12 which we took through Bryce, Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.

Then we took Utah 24 through Capitol Reef National Park and ended up on Interstate 70. We raced east on it to Fruita Colorado. Tomorrow we'll be at Chris and Maria's and I'll replace the right crank end cap on my bike. It's seeping a little. After the gravity incident.
like this for hundreds of miles

Thank you Mike but tonight we'll be at Chris's in Longmont and he has 3 CBX's in his garage. I hope he's to busy to read this. Maybe I can blame it on the Squirrel's :D .

It shows what a great accessory the case savers are. I have them on both my CBXXes and would not want to miss them. 8)
