On occasion of the 25 year anniversary of our beloved CBX, Honda has decided to issue a limited number anniversary edition of the famous six for 2004!!
The models will have the improved chassis of the the Prolink versions with early model sheet metal and a performance enhanced engine spec. Honda has been quoted to say they want to use the pistons from the GL1800 in order to keep engine development cost down. Rated output is supposed to be around 145 HP. The speedo will go all the way to 220 mph, sport-kits will be standard, including footpeg brackets. Rear swingarm will be modified to take a rim with size 190 rubber 
Alright! Number will be limited to 1979 units for North America. The bikes will all be produced in Ohio. Following Ducati's example all bikes will be sold on the Internet. For more details call 1-800-NEW CBXZ
