Rear Chain Guard

Are the rear chains guards for a 79CBX and 82 CBX interchangeable? Since the both have different rear swingarms I am thinking they are not.
Since I do not have a parts book for both years thought one of the experts would know.

They are not interchangeable.
Easy enough to check parts similarities through schematics on one of many on-line sites like Partzilla or BikeBandit.
I use Ron Ayers Honda.

They are also optically different. 79/80 chainguard is black, 81/82 is chrome

They are also molecularly different. 79/80 chainguard is plastic, 81/82 is metal

Thanks for confirmation, I was looking at replacing the 79 plastic with a 82 metal chrome but wanted to confirm interchangability first before purchasing. I understand there are aftermarket metal chrome ones available....
