Hey Everyone:
I'm new to the CBX world, and to my chagrin I've learned that tank badges are expensive and hard to find, especially if you need only 1. I can buy a pair of used ones for $275, but I'm hoping that some on has a right side one they would be willing to sell me for less than that. I'm located on Vancouver Island, so some shipping would likely be involved.

Your problem, if you care, is that the '80 part number has a different texture to the black background than the much more common '79 part number. Less of an issue is the 4mm mounting holes on the '80, vs the 3mm on the '79.

Thanks for the responses guys, someone has reached out to me with what we're hoping is a 1980 badge. My mounting screws actually measured 3.7 mm, but I think we have it figured out.

Your screws are nominally 4mm, which is what the '80 used.
