You're doing the lord's work ditching that fairing. :) IMO the custom paint suits the bike perfectly - just right for the era.

I also just fitted original side covers and a front fender. The special paint side covers and fender are now for sale ig you are interested.

Not my CBX but a minty fresh 79 about to be delivered to it's new home. I did not notice the shadow of the tree behind me projected on the wall when I took the picture but Night Sight picked it up
