Thanks, rides like a 40 year old bike should,
I bought the bike from a fellow forum member here back in 2008.
Haven't ridden it much recently, weighing my options.

I took a quick 100km ride on my 80 CBX 1150 to Squamish, Horseshoe Bay, and Whytecliff Park on the way back to Vancouver BC for some pics on 9/27/2022.

Tried this new clear pump-spray CERAKOTE® Rapid Ceramic Paint Sealant Protective Coating (8 oz Bottle) from Amazon
Adds a glass like finish

Interesting, I driving around with mostly unpainted aluminium and it is a mess to clean the bike from crushed bugs. I have to check out the ceramic stuff you have put on. Thanks for the information 👍

I really like the CERAKOTE dressing for black plastic and trim, reminds of the old Back to Black products as far as how well it restores faded plastics.

A detailer friend of mine turned be on to Beadmaker sealant for paint, love the stuff.

I'll have to try it, the 40 yr old black plastic CBX turns really dull.
You can polish out most of the fine scratches in plastic using tooth paste and a liitle water to keep it flowing.
I polished my clear plastic SHOEI helmet windshield yesterday.
Works on cheap sunglasses too

I see you have a 80 1150 big bore and having 3 KN filter pods, 3 to 1 Kerker, is it running good? What jetting do you have?

Very nice! The photo really shows the amount of care you put into the bike.

I don't know if I've said it before, but I really like that color on the ComStar wheels - gives it a look like vintage Campy or Marvic wheels.

Thanks Phil,
Honda's Third generation 'Reverse' Comstar front wheel on a 1982 Honda CB400NC Super Dream and Honda CB750F were gold,
but they did not paint the rims or rivets.
The previous owner was a Calgary real estate agent who had a collection of bikes.
I think he had painted this CBX to look like a Bimota.
