Requesting pic of brake pivot nut

Post by Kingludd »

Hello. Would someone please post a closeup pic of the installed acorn cap nut and washer on the brake lever pivot bolt for a stock 1979? The washer o.d. I have seems too large. Thank you. Mark C.

P.S. I would also like to see a closeup pic of the nut/washer for the clutch lever pivot bolt. Previous owner wasn't good at keeping track of the parts he took off and reinstalled.

Thank you.

I think you mean the handlebar levers? The clutch lever came originally with a nut and flat washer, brake lever the same. I think some later bikes came with the flange nut on the brake lever only. Most guys just put two flange nuts on them - there were never acorn nuts there.
