2 piston calipers on a 79cbx

Has somebody already tried to install 2 piston calipers (cbx pro-link / CB900) on a Z model cbx? are the mounting points equal?

I'm rebuilding my Z and the original 1 piston calipers require a revision.
If the 2 piston calipers will fit to the fork legs it would probably an upgrade for the braking performance

Done many times, you will also need the caliper carriers from the donor bike.
Of course new stainless lines and upgraded master cylinder would add to the stopping power.

I spend some more time with a search and found some helpful answers 8)

As I have to replace the calipers+brackets & disks I will just rebuild the original ones for now.
First see how that works with a new brake pump and steel wired hoses

I found a ‘84 750F in salvage and took the calipers, hangers and disks front and back added full sintered pads, it was an easy switch just plug n play... much improved braking ...brakes from a 900F will work as well
