Hello. Mike Nixon, and my business/resource is called The Motorcycle Project. Many folks are familiar with my booklets,

and the booklet library keeps growing so check back often and see what's new.

I also am very active in carburetor rebuilds and restorations. Actually, most of the carburetor work I do is on the level of restoration. Not only

thorough cleaning, down to the bare castings, all the circuits chased, and back up again. But also restoration of the original finishes on the individual parts.

No part is left unexamined, uncleaned, uninspected or neglected. All is accounted for and lovingly rebuilt.

I do plating, as you can see in the next two pictures.

And I also rebuild the petcock as part of the service,

No one else does as much on these carbs as I do. I extract parts to ensure thorough cleaning that no one else extracts, because it requires special tools that you have to make. I blueprint the accelerator pump, probably the most troublesome circuit on these carbs, so that it works like it should. I use as many as six different cleaning procedures on the various parts, most of them specific to the part type. No dunk and forget here. Note the factory replacement fuel line, the new fuel line clips, the polished tops. Visit my website to learn more and to start the process of having your carburetors rebuilt.

Professional work, careful insured return shipping, an installation and care booklet inside the box. It's a total restoration experience!

I also do carbs besides the CBX, and I am into Pro-Link shock seal replacements as well. Try out the links below for more information. :)
