Hey there, just an FYI I joined on 9/19. No rush for anything but I'd love access to that "best of" technical forum. Thanks!

Jay, you clearly read one of my old posts from 2010 advertising that content. Unfortunately that “best of” project did not pan out as we hoped and so we shelved it. Your best bet is to experiment with the site search, and also using Google to search this site. There are guides on how to do that here.

I apologize for the (old) misleading post, I just revised it so it does not disappoint any other new users.

Otherwise, Welcome!

No worries. The site is helpful enough as is and I would have joined anyway, I just figured if there was a magical section hidden away then I wanted to see it!

Thanks for letting me tag along.
Having always had bikes in my life for the past fifty odd years this is my first taste of a 6 cylinder machine.
My younger brother has a Z1300 and I’m looking forward to seeing the difference between them.

Larry,

Where do I find my Web Forum ID?

Want to join. The form to fill out is asking for that.

Bud

Hi, Bud. Don't really need that. However, what it is is your forum username.

Hi all. Thanks for keeping CBX heritage alive. I am a 60+ year motorcyclist who was a Honda dealership and service writer from 1980-1984 and a raced endurance events from 1977-2016. I would ride new CBXs when setting up for sale, doing 600 mile services etc. For awhile we had a trade in for about 4 months that we rode the wheels off that thing! What a sweet sound! Now in my later years with no sponsors I have to support my offroad funding. This is done by finding, restoring and saving the bikes of my era. Thus I have found a 1982 Supersport CBX with 32k miles and everything is there except for stock seat that been replaced by a Corbin seat. I want this bike saved and in 2019 when parked it ran and was ridden often and then sat since. Fuel was drained and tank fuel removed. Looking a good home, paperwork in hand (Northern California)Dean

There is a gent on the club Facebook group by the name of Christian Grimes, he wanted to buy a Prolink. I shall point him at this thread.
