Where do you find key blanks?

Post by derherr65 »

Where do you find key blanks? I'd like to make a copy of the sole original key I have, just in case. Local hardware store could not match, online retailers seem unsure, do you know of a source?

if you do Ebay you can find them on there or if you take the number off your key you can search Ebay for a used one, maybe a new one. I have found good used ones for my Honda's there. But you can also find a seller that will cut one for you. Someone from this site had mention that this Honda P/N 35121-KW3-771 for a Blank Key will work to cut a new one from, It is not identical to the original it has a larger Plastic head on it but appeares to be the correct length. Your local Honda dealer may be able to cut one with your key# .
Hope this helps.

Cyclekeysonline on eBay has good-looking plastic-head blanks. Will cut your key by number. Outstanding service.
