Hi Ladies and Gentlemen,
Probably rehashing something that's been answered many times, so apologies in advance if that's the case... .

Going for Shinko Tour Master 230 series for front and rear on my '81 CBX-B.

The S097 tyre for the rear at 130/90-18.
And the S130 tyre for the front at 110/90-19.

I've had my bike since new but has been in storage for many, many years. Long story short a) haven't bought tyres in ages and b) keen to get back to sizing that was fitted as original equipment. The rear size is easy, but is the 110/90-19 front equivalent to 3.50-19 and what would have been fitted by Honda?

No go on the 110! Get the 100. It's the correct replacement for the 3.50. The 110 is too tall for the front of the CBX and will often rub the fender at speed. I just put a set of Shinkos on an '81 and it rides and handles just fine, especially for the money.

Glad to hear about the Shinkos, I'm a dealer for them. I have a set of Battleaxes on my '81, hate them. Installed a set of tourmasters on a Yamaha XS 11 special I'm doing anxious to try it.

I am a big fan of those Shinkos. I like a round profile tire and these turn in really smoothly and stick and handle fine, feel confidence inspiring. My go-to tire for the CBX. They are also a freakin' BARGAIN.
