Mirror stems

When I bought my CBX Z from the UK some years ago, it came with these 'acorns' at the bottom of its mirrors, as shown in the attached picture:

To date, I have failed to locate and reference these in any of my Honda Parts Lists and wonder if anyone can shed some light as to:
1. What they do (damping some vibes may be?)
2. In which markets they were utilised.
Cheers
Aris

They came on most European and Australian/NZ versions of the Z model. The separation between the stems and the lower mounting threads was supposed to eliminate some of the vibration at high speeds and ease adjustment.
Part-Number is 88110-422-600 and 620. I am not quite sure what the difference between the two numbers is.
These are very rare, Aris and people pay a lot of money for them. But if you don't like them, I trade you for a set of NOS U.S. spec mirrors.

Mike, the shipping to the States would be brutal.
Best that Aris ship them to me in Canada, which would be WAY cheaper.
In my early days i gave away a set because i thought they were not oem.
