Getting ready for engine paint

Post by big6fanatic »

Hello all,

I’m still in progress of rebuilding my X. Progress is slow as I have a limited amount of time to spare on my project.

I decided lately to “attack” the engine paint. I was wondering how to hold the engine up to have an all around access. I wanted to make sure I could go underneath and spray the paint in all corners.

Couples of 2x3 later with a threaded rod and that’s it! I even found a new life for 2 pairs of old roller skates who were collecting dust in the attic. :D It is easy to move the engine all around in the garage. I’m even thinking of installing my carbs on the engine to synchronise them…..I’ll see
