Here's what I want to do next with my 82. Does anyone know what the mirrors came off?

I found the pic but have no information on the bike. My first CBX had the same front fender graphics and headlight cover. If you could see the frame, you would see the steering lock was on the frame like old honda's.

My guess on the mirrors is a mid '80s BMW K100RS, the important word here being "guess"

I think you have something there, Steve-

Do you know anyone who had one, totaled it, and still has the mirrors, wondering if it would be possible to mount them on a '82 CBX?

I also "guessed" at the lottery numbers last night, maybe i will get that one right.
I do not know of anyone with those mirrors, they look like they would offer some protection for the hands as well. A nice benefit.
Anyone remember "Hippo Hands"

My first CBX had Givi bags. They were big and rattled apart under 50,000 easy miles. They looked the same. Pro-link bags are small but much sturdier.

I would want to guess that this is a picture of a Euro market CBX. Some countries had that design front fender and over there the CBX-B and C had the factory saddlebags as a dealer option, providing excellent opportunity for aftermarket bag manufacturers to offer their product. "Schuh" carriers and bags were very popular on CBXes

Alimey4u2,, sorry it took so long to respond, but I still have my Hippo Hands and there as good as when they where new.

I was reviewing old posts and noticed your mention of them.

Mine are black and furry and comfy inside and still a priemer product of the time.

Later, George in Delaware
