81 CBX FRAME

Post by jt »

Wanting to powder coat my 81 frame, but wondering what to do about the Helmet lock and rear shock sensor. Can this be removed without damaging the lock. Can the lock (only) be reattached? Has anyone been down this road ?

Use Vice-Grips to remove the screws. You can reattach with the same ones or just use regular bolts. The break-away bolts are NLA.

Well that was easy enough, I thought they were braded on somehow.

Thank you Dave
