SADDLEMEN SEAT COVER

Post by twinegar »

I bought a Saddleman seat cover for my 80 "X"and when it arrived I was a little surprised to see that the piping is missing along the seam. I am sure it is a good quality cover but it doesn't replicate the original. Is there a cover still available that replicates the original? I installed one in '07 but can't find the info so I can see who the seller is.

These come recommended as the best although David Silver in the UK stock a "near original" which isn't too bad & reasonably inexpensive

These come highly recommended ( I have the e-mail if you would like to PM me...) Not cheap mind you...

Twinegear, i do not know if these are the Saddleman version or not, but they do appear to have the seam.

The one I just got came from CBXMan and it doesn't match the picture they have. I wish I could remember where I got the last one or maybe they used to stock one with a piping. I just compared the one I put on with the new CBX seat I bought in 07 and they match perfectly so I guess I will send the Saddlemen one back. I would expect a company with CBX in the title to offer replica covers.
