External measurements of the CBX1000 engine?

Post by JohnnySwede »

Hi all!

I am looking for the external measurements on the CBX1000 engine. I need to calculate shipping of an engine I’ve found and I have no idea as to height, width or length of this engine.

Any help would be widely appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

The size you need to consider is almost exactly a cube of 610 x 610 x 610mm.

So this is the engine only, right? At the tallest point, vertical down to the lowest point and from front 'til end? Am I correct?

A BIG thank you to you EMS!

Decades ago i got a bunch of parts shipped from Rick Bentley in Rochester. He was a good guy.
They came in a 2 foot square crate that he said was used for shipping engines.

225 lbs dry weight?
