Replacing fork seals - how to?

Post by CBXboy »

Hey guys,

one of my fork seals is leaking badly, dripping oil down onto my brake!! Time to replace it I think. Since I don't have the workshop manual (impossible to find), can any of you give me any special recommendations I should do when changing it?

Also - does anyone know any good 'how-to' do this websites?

cheers

You didn't say what year you have but there is a Manual for sale on eBay right now - item #2420462434. Make a favorite for eBay on CBXs; there are manuals from time to time. :D :D

He has a CBX250 and a hard time finding any manuals. This bike is a non-US version, but the procedure to replace fork seals is pretty standard. Try the CB450 Twin "Hawk" models. I believe the Chassis is very close.
