Hi Guys
This might be a silly question but how do you pump up the air suspension on a Pro-Link, normal car tyre adapter from a compressor won't work?

Read some more forums re the suspension, some guys saying don't worry about using air at all just, use some more oil, at the moment I have filled per the manual with ATF (amount of CC's as per manual) is the original rear monoshock OK if working or should I look at a new replacement?

Put a Progressive rear shock on and grease all the swing arm bushings when you do it. Big improvement over the old stock shock.

For the front I use a little bicycle pump, it's like a foot long and takes about 10 to 15 pumps to get to 10 psi. I don't think you should use a compressor, too much air too fast. The rear is a normal fitting for a tire/compressor.

For the rear, what hondaman said is 'gospel'. Best money you will ever spend on prolink suspension. For the front, RaceTec gold valve inserts are a good bet.

Lots of people here have used the Progressive 465.

Might be able to find it $50.00 or so cheaper on Ebay, but that can have its own issues.

I have a small hand pump by Fox that is intended for pressurizing mountain bike suspension. It seals to the valve stem before the core is depressed, and so it loses less than 1/2 lb of pressure when it is removed. Very accurate, very controllable, very affordable.
