Hi Guys,

I just came across these michelin touring tires. What does everyone think?
It maybe a good option for prolink bikes now that bridgestone S11 is no longer being produced

Thanks

I have these on my 78 CBX. Although I haven't done that many miles on them I personally like them. They seem to suit my riding style and work well two up.
Not bad even on UK roads.

Cheers

There are still some S11 tires out there that are not terribly out of date. Still good for years to come.
Best,
Phil

I've been running the Activs on my Honda Hawk GT for a couple of years. Well pleased with them.

I have no experience with the Michelins, but I would think that ANY tire newer than the S-11 ( of which I am one of the very few that never where a fan of) should be a better tire.
Tire development and technology has made quite some progress since the S-11 was introduced.

I found nothing wrong with S11 and actually they were much better than I expected but I'm still hoping for upgraded tire so I may just give michelins a try, they should be at least as good

Thanks

Actually these tires are not available in correct size for the rear. They have it in 130/80x18which will lower the rear a bit, right and it will be harder to put on the center stand
Am i correct?

Thanks

I've been riding on Michelin Active tires and i love them. They are softer than S11's and my CBX handles very good with them.
One thing though, rear is /80 which makes the tire look very skinny in the back and makes the bike lean much easier. As far as getting it up on the center stand, it is slightly harder but not much

Is there a Michelin Commander two in our size, they certainly perform well?

Nothing is available in matching original size other than shinko 239 Tour Master
Commander 2 is a cruiser tire I think
