Rechroming Kerker exhaust.

Post by sixinoz »

My Kerker system is looking a bit tired so I approached a chroming shop about a rechrome. Basically said it was not possible because of the pitting on sections that are hard to polish up ie where the 3 pipes join into one.
Anyone rechromed a set of Kerkers? Is it possible to media blast the rust and hand sand to an acceptable finish?
I like the Kerkers so much that I don't want to get rid of them.

Ceramic coating for the headers would be a better idea.

I am in no way recommending this company just using them as an example as something else to look at for coating.
