I need to connect a Motogadget MINI Rev Counter to my CBX. The instruction says to ONLY connect the the Neg. pole of any of the coils.... Will the Neg. pole be the BLACK wire connected to the coil (I see a black and a red wire...) See below. Regards!

Get thee a wiring diagram and all will be revealed. On any Honda wiring harness you encounter, green is ground.

I have a OEM diagram... no green on mine but black... I sorted it out, negative is on the right side of each coil (which was a black wire). Everything is working 100%. Regards.
