Kenwood radio

Post by UmpquaRafter »

My '81 CBX has an AM/FM radio pushing two dinky speakers in the fairing. Antenna mounted on the back, amp is in the fairing storage box. Controller says Kenwood/Honda on it, so I guess it's a factory unit. Were these common?

There was never a Hondaline accessory radio put into production for the Pro-Link. Rumors of them, but they never did. Yours is a sort-of-common add-on back in the day. The unit is likely from something like a Gold Wing that was adapted.
