Xenondepot is where I found mine, I think it's a Canadian supplier.

If you have a choice between heat sink or fan cooled I'd recommend the heat sink as there's nothing mechanical(fan) that can fail. It's a tight fit getting it in but if you push the wiring around there's room for the heat sink to spread out.
CBX a work in progress, still improving...GS1150EFE completed and awaiting modifications.....RD350, remnants in boxes scattered throughout the garage

I just ordered this bulb from Amazon.Same physical size as a H4 halogen bulb. Only uses 20 watts of power. Not quite riding season yet in Minnesota,I will post an update after I road test it

It works great. More than 3 times the lumens of a standard H4 bulb with 1/3 the amp draw, win/win.
Also notice the location of the led chips, they are in the same location as filaments in a H4 bulb.
This is key to getting the same light pattern from the reflector in your headlight.
H4 led bulbs with 360 degree led's will make a poor light pattern on the road.

Although 99% of my riding is done during daylight hours I installed this led bulb for 2 reasons.
Being much whiter and much brighter it is much more visible to oncoming traffic even in the daytime.
I'm also running dual headlights so the decreased amp draw is also a benefit.

Hey Chris. Actually, I found my LED on Amazon. I guess the right link is already above. And I really love it. I appreciate your desire to use LED instead of halogen. That’s right. Btw, in addition to it, I also bought this light strip https://www.vont.com/product/vont-car-smart-strip-light/. My kids really asked me to buy it so I couldn’t refuse them. I think customizing is actually a great idea. If you want your car to look the way you really want it, customize it. What do you think of it? Btw, what LEDs have you already bought? Keep us updated, Chris.
