Good Morning all
IT was only when i came to rebuild the carbs checking against the manual that i realised all was not right
the carbs only have a single main jet... and so after discussion it has become apparent that the Z has later prolink carbs fitted
The Manual lists the Z as having 98/65 mains, when stripped the carbs on my Z it only has the 98 where i can see the prolink carbs generally have 105
The bike came to me having a prolink pleated paper filter with some exhaust wadding wrapped around it and no airbox lid so iassume that there was some issue regarding
the carburation, the bike has a standard style pattern exhaust
anyways we are now running Z foam filter and lid is back on , so my question is has anyone advice as to whether i should run 98 or 105 main jet ?
Regards
Brian
