Hey gang was a member here up until 14 years ago. Got side tracked in life and didn't end up riding much.
So I drained the carbs and sprayed the inside of a mostly empty tank with WD40 and she got parked.

Man how time flies huh?
Did a few of the Three Valley Gap rallies in 05,06,07

With my mechanical ability of being able to remove a fairing screw, drop it and watch it bounce into an exhaust pipe,
listen to it travel up the pipe and lodge probably near a main carb jet, I realize it may be time to sell the ol girl.

So here's the scoop.
82 CBX original paint with the typical patina of an original unmolested condition.
Actually it won a first place showing 15 years ago at an event.
stored indoors cool and dry.
one factory key, who the hell knows where the other one went?
original red cover owners manual
photocopy shop manual.
Stock seat in a box no fade or tears.
Corbin in the typical blue color on the bike.
Stock screen and a Gustafson high touring screen.
Jama ngineeering pipes
The original pipes ( rusted as they do.)
Some assorted o rings and alternator plates new in bag.
82,000 km on the dial
Valves last done by Mike Quance in Calgary at 78,000km
never dropped
last 4 digits on vin 2731.
Bought from Bow Cycle in Calgary about 27 years ago.
I was told it was one of the last 10 off the line. It was sold to someone in Japan and then brought back to Canada
Jim Sibthorpe owner of Bow Cycle then acquired it and then it came home with me.
