Thanks, Mike - your kind words mean a lot to me.

My intent with this thread (as with a few others I've started) was not just to document what I decided to do, but how I decided on it, hoping that might be of interest or help to others. I've benefitted immeasurably from the insight and support of the community here, so if I can provide something back, I'm glad to do it.

I'm back to having a stable income, and my fancy 3D printer is scheduled to arrive next week. I am starting to believe that 2023 is gonna be a big year for my poor neglected old bike...

A great write-up and a beautiful machine. Love the boomies, new gauges, brakes, front and rear end upgrades, the lot. And above all the reports on how it worked out, good or bad...
