6615 My 79 CBX front end
6613 My nephews World Cup 2015 Factory Racing Downhill Mountain bike front end 40mm forks :o

wonder if they will fit? :lol:

Was surprised by the 40mm dimension on the top of the line Mountain Bike forks, much thinner tube wall than my CBX though.
Mind you, the nephew's do fling them selves willy-nilly down mountains at World Cup DH race's so those forks need to take a beating.

I don't do downhill, but even so I am amazed at the beating my MTB takes at my hands.
