Godspeed Mitchel Banks

Post by Tom Neimeyer »

It is with great sadness that I inform you that Mitchel Banks has passed. He was a good, kind and generous man that will be missed.

I am proud to have known him and to call him my friend. Over the years we had many adventures together, rallys in Marlinton, racing at Bonneville and the Texas Mile.

His heart as big as his girth, in his youth a man of adventure and as he aged, a real story teller.

Sounds like the kind of man that you regret never meeting.
I am sure he is in a better place!

Sad news indeed Tom ! :(
I remember meeting Mitch at Marlinton a few years ago, a cool and genuine dude all the way. A good friend to you and probably to all who got to know him.
RIP Mitch

I'm just now reading this and am really sad. He was a great knowledge source about bikes and in particular CBXs and 750 Kawasaki twins. I never met him in person, but spent several hours with him on the phone asking questions and hearing some of his great stories. RIP
